Reading FC are looking to play two friendlies against Premier League clubs as they build up to the new Championship season.
Royals’ pre-season plans are continuing to take shape after the club announced the first-team squad is heading to St George’s Park for a week-long training camp at the start of July.
At the end of the week in Staffordshire, a behind-closed-doors game is planned while a match at AFC Wimbledon, who have just been relegated to League Two, has been scheduled for Tuesday, July 19 at Plough Lane (7.45pm kick-off).

The club is also hoping to organise games against two Premier League sides towards the end of July.
One of them will take place on Saturday, July 23 which is the weekend before the start of the season while the other is most likely take place in the week before. Both are scheduled to take place at the Select Car Leasing Stadium.
