Who do you want your team to buy?
With the transfer window now full in swing, we’re looking at Premier League teams and who they should attempt to sign this summer.
We have looked at half the teams in the league and determined who they should be dedicating their efforts to over the next two months or so.
We published Part 1 yesterday, and we’re getting stuck into the other 10 teams, and picking one player they should sign this summer.
Premier League transfers
Leicester City – Yerry Mina
Leicester’s defending from set-pieces this season was nothing short of embarrassing, and they need a big physical presence at the back.
Mina would not be cheap, but he would go some way to solving this problem.
Liverpool – Jarrod Bowen
With Sadio Mane on the way out, this one seems like a bit of a no brainer, even if he would be expensive.
If Mo Salah heads for the exit door soon, Liverpool could still have a front three of Luis Diaz, Diogo Jota and Bowen if they got this deal over the line.
Manchester City – Erling Haaland
The only team on the list who has already signed the exact player they need.
With a top class striker they might have won the Champions League last year, and now they have one.
Manchester United – Yves Bissouma
Declan Rice will likely cost twice as much as Bissouma, and he’s not twice the player. United desperately need a defensive midfielder, and there aren’t many better than Bissouma in the league.
Newcastle United – Roberto Firmino
Callum Wilson is an excellent striker, but he is not reliable enough fitness wise.
Firmino would bring an energy to Newcastle that would be infectious, and the fans would absolutely love him.
Nottingham Forest – Callum Hudson-Odoi
Hudson-Odoi doesn’t get a lot of opportunities at Chelsea, and Forest are going to need more firepower if they are to survive.
He needs a fresh start, and this would be a really exciting move to make.
Southampton – Gavin Bazunu
The Saints need a goalkeeper, and as Ireland and Portsmouth fans can attest, Bazunu is a real talent.
If they managed to sign him on a permanent basis, they would be on to winner for years to come.
Spurs – Alessandro Bastoni
The difference Christian Romero made to the Spurs difference is incredible, but they need another top defender if they want to push on.
They want Bastoni, and if they got him, it would be huge for the top four race.
West Ham – Jesse Lingard
A move that should have happened 12 months ago, but it’s not too late.
Lingard fits West Ham like a glove, and given they will be in the European Conference next year, he has a nice chance at winning some silverware.
Wolves – Axel Tuanzebe
Man United are willing to let Tuanzebe go, and as part of Wolves’ back three, his pace could be utilised extremely well.
